Prayer for Parish

Christ Jesus,

You who love us and deepen in us the knowledge of Your name and Your love, open all doors and make known the way of salvation, You call us to take time and to be with You in prayer, to draw close to You and to seek Your Will.

You desire to purify our hearts and to lead us to repentance draw us together as a community and help us to open our hearts to appreciate the gift of each other.

Bless our Parish Community and all those we love. May your grace lead us to a new Pentecost in our lives to go and proclaim the Good News to all and a deeper desire to live the mission of the Church.

Parish Lenten Program 2022

Lent is a time of preparation for Easter, which is the greatest feast day on our Christian calendar. We can prepare for it by spending more time on prayer and participating in the beautiful devotion of the Stations of the Cross. These activities give us an opportunity to renew our relationship with God and one another and to grow in our understanding and appreciation of the beauty of our Catholic faith.

We encourage everyone to prepare for Easter by joining one of the 5 sharing groups below who will be meeting during Lent. If you are interested please add your name to one of the lists at the back of the church. 
 

 1. Group Commencing Tuesday 1st March at 9.30am in the Alverna meeting room, Balcatta 
 2. Group Commencing Wednesday 2nd March at 9am in the Community Centre, Gwelup
 3. Group Commencing Wednesday 2nd March 7.30pm in the Alverna Centre, Balcatta
 4. Group Commencing Wednesday 2nd March 7.30pm at parishioner's home, Stirling
 5. Group Commencing Thursday 3rd March at 7.30pm at parishioner's home, Balcatta

Reconciliation is available every morning during the week
before 9am Mass in St Lawrence church.

Fri 8:30am - 8:55am
1st Fri 8:30am - 8:55am & 7:00pm - 7:25pm
Sat 5:15pm - 5:55pm or by appointment.
(during Advent and Lent 15 minutes before 9:00am Mass)

GWELUP
Sun after 11:30am Mass or by appointment.
