Part 2: Strengthening One’s Relationship with God: Prayer and Sacraments
The Catechism of the Catholic Church emphasises the importance of prayer and the Sacraments in the life of a Christian. It refers to prayer as the means through which we celebrate our faith in God and enter into a personal relationship with Him (2558). As we do this, the Sacraments mark all the important stages of our Christian life and sustain us in our sense of mission as Christians (1210). Join us as we explore what prayer is, the difference between saying prayers and praying, and how the seven Sacraments can deepen and give meaning to our unique relationship with God.
