May, the month dedicated to Mary, Mother of Jesus, begins on Tuesday. We encourage you to renew and deepen your relationship with our Spiritual Mother. You are invited to say the Rosary daily and to participate in the May Devotion after the 9.00am Mass every weekday.

If you would like to take the Statue home for a week, please write your details on the sheet in the church foyer. 

For St Lawrence: The statue needs to be collected from the Parish Office on Fri by 11.00am and returned to the office the following Thurs by 11.00am.

For St Theresa: The Statue needs to be picked up at St Theresa Church after Sunday Mass and returned to church the following Sunday. The statue can also be collected from Mrs Phil Dunne at Unit 21 Mt La Verna Homes, before 10.00am Sat or Sun.

You are invited to deepen your knowledge of the scriptural foundations of Mass. The bible study is produced by Scott Hahn and runs for six weeks. 

The course commences on Wednesday 2 May at 7.30pm at Alverna Meeting Room. Please bring your Bible. Notes will be provided. Contact Anne-Marie Langdon on 9447 4252 after 6.00pm for further information. All are welcome. 

We would like to thank all the parishioners who worked so hard to organise the altar service, music, decorations, flowers, church cleaning, Children’s Liturgy and so much more to make Palm Sunday, Holy Week and the Easter Celebrations such very meaningful and prayerful occasions.

There will be Holy Hour with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Sunday 15 May after 6.00pm Mass. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be prayed before the Benediction. All welcome.
