Sacraments of Healing: Entering into Communion with God and the Church

ON: Thursdays, from 8th—29th June

SUGGESTED DONATION: $5 per session

The experiences of sin, suffering, illness and death are fundamental to every human life. The Church responds to these experiences by offering healing and reconciliation through Jesus Christ, the true healer of our souls and bodies. There are two Sacraments of healing in Catholic sacramental life: the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. This course will discover the Biblical origins and the historical development of these sacraments, as well as invite participants to recognise the need for healing and forgiveness.

During November we pray for the deceased by offering a Mass every day. If you would like to include your loved ones, please write the names of the deceased on the November Mass Offering envelopes available in the church foyer and place in the basket near the altar. An offering is welcome.
