Welcome to our Parish website...

There are two churches, which belong to our Parish: St Lawrence & Mary Immaculate in Balcatta and St Theresa in Gwelup (with Mt La Verna Retirement Village). There is also St Lawrence Primary School in Balcatta. For children who do not attend a Catholic school, we offer a comprehensive Religious Education Program. Incorporated into this program are the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. We are one Christian Family!

This site was created not only for the benefit of our parishioners but also for anyone who would be interested in our activities. If you would like to become a catholic or renew your catholic faith, we would love to hear from you ASAP! You are ALWAYS welcome in our community! You can even become a member of one of many groups existing in our parish or you can simply choose to be part of the parish as whole.

Jesus saved us as a community and He wants us to worship Him as a community (not only as individuals). So, come and see, experience God’s mercy, compassion and Christian love among us!!

Easter Program 2019

PALM SUNDAY—14th April (No Croatian Mass)

 St Lawrence Masses: Saturday Vigil: 6pm

Sunday: 8.30am, 10.30am (Italian) and 5.00pm

St Theresa Mass: 11.30am

 

HOLY THURSDAY—18th April (No Mass at 9am)             

The Lord’s Supper 7.30pm at St Lawrence followed by Adoration at the Altar of Repose until Midnight.

 

GOOD FRIDAY—19th April (No Mass at 9am or 7.30pm)

Stations of the Cross 10am at St Lawrence and St Theresa

The Lord’s Passion 3pm at St Lawrence and St Theresa

Via Crucis (Italian) 7.30pm at St Lawrence

 

HOLY SATURDAY—20th April (No Mass at 9am)

Blessing of Easter Food 12noon at St Lawrence

Easter Vigil 7pm at St Lawrence

 

EASTER SUNDAY—21st April (No Mass at 5pm)

 St Lawrence Masses: 7am, 8.30am,

10.30am (Italian), 12noon (Croatian)

St Theresa Mass: 11am

Reconciliation is available every morning during the week
before 9am Mass in St Lawrence church.

Fri 8:30am - 8:55am
1st Fri 8:30am - 8:55am & 7:00pm - 7:25pm
Sat 5:15pm - 5:55pm or by appointment.
(during Advent and Lent 15 minutes before 9:00am Mass)

GWELUP
Sun after 11:30am Mass or by appointment.
